We had an amazing time at Big Top Chataqua warming up for The Marshall Tucker Band. They were incredibly friendly and put on a great show. Our performance was recorded to be broadcast on the Tent Radio show, so keep a lookout on our website for news for when that will be released, or go to http://tentradio.com and check for yourself while listening to other great acts.
In other news, we're still adding new shows to our Midwest tour! Go check out the updated calendar. This week will be our return to Cafe 318 in Excelsior, one of our favorite venues that really orients their atmosphere to intimate listening experiences.
We've picked up some new gigs! July 30th at Gleuck's in Minneapolis, August 1st at Harbor Bar outside of Red Wing, WI, and September 22nd at Brookside Bar & Grill in Marina-On-St-Croix for their Chili Cookoff
Check the calendar for all the public gigs we have from here to October.

Friday night in St. Augustine for the Mumford & Sons "Gentlemen of the Road" tour was amazing! Thank you to Ann O'malley's for having us and to all who stopped by and jammed with us. It was all of you who got us into the music for sure. We had a solid show and met many great new friends!
Anyone who has video or photos of that night POST, POST, POST all over the web! Thanks again!
This Friday and Saturday are two big days for The Afterwhile. Friday night the band will be performing outside of Ann O'malleys Pub in downtown St. Augustine for the after party of the Edward Sharpe & The Magnetic Zeroes show. It's going to be a huge party in the streets of St. Augustine as the next night is the Mumford & Sons Show. We're kind of bumbed that we can't play Saturday as well (Ann O'malley's wanted us), but we will be going to Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park in Live Oak to compete in the state round of The Texaco Country Showdown!
Come on out and see us if you're in the neighborhood! Thanks!

We kicked off our midwest tour with a great set at Kiester Days in Kiester, MN. We were set up on a flatbed outside the Kiester American Legion with all the fine people of Kiester jamming out with us the whole night. It was a great time had by all and such a cool way to kick off our tour. We love you Kiester!!

Come on out and hang with us. It's great to be back again!
We just want to say a huge Thank You to everyone that has been so generous to us thus far in our fundraiser. Your thoughtfulness can not be given enough credit. You all are really making this a reality for us and we can not wait to give that back to you with our music, both recorded and live. It is such an uplifting and amazing feeling to know that all of you care so much about what we do. It is amazing.
Thank you again. We will be releasing an official tour schedule in the next few days and should be listening to the first mixes of all the tracks soon! Stay tuned!
Hello to all of you beautiful souls. Some we call family, others fans, but most importantly all of you dear friends. We are appearing here on your screens, heads held high, full of confidence and asking for aid. As we venture further into this crazy unknown we shall fondly name "the music business" we find ourselves a bit short financially. We are in the tail end of completing our first full length album packed with amazing material, but limited means of being able to share it with all of you and future friends we are going to encounter throughout our journey. And so, as I said before, we are asking for any help you feel led to provide out of the kindness of your heart in order that we may continue in the completion of our album and further more begin to distribute, and promote The Afterwhile.
Please allow us the ability to continue sharing our love, passion, and music with all of you.
Again any sum great or small will be worth more than you can imagine.
For convenience we've set up a PayPal link on the home page of our website www.TheAfterwhile.com where you can donate if you feel led to, or you can send checks made out to The Afterwhile at:
P.O. Box 1671
New Smyrna Beach, FL 32170
Thank you, thank you, thank you from the bottom of our hearts. We will not forget your kindness!!
Gina, Tony, Chris, Jason, and Alex
We are so very proud and excited that we were chosen as the winners of the local round of The Texaco Country Music Showdown! There were some amazing bands and awesome talent and we feel very blessed! From here we move on to the state round in Live Oak, FL on September 14th. Thank you to all our family and friends for all your love and support during this exciting time!
Have a listen to the live radio call from Kix Country 98.7 when they announced to Gina and Tony that The Afterwhile had won! They were a little groggy from a 9am phone call, but super excited to hear the news.
